    Beck Center for the Arts The Youth Theater will present "The Wizard of Oz" Friday and through Sunday.

    The adaptation is based on the classic movie starring Judy Garland.

    Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday.

    Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for children ages 12 and younger.

    $25 for seniors and $17 for students (22 and younger with identification).

    Clague Playhouse "Miss Pell is Missing" will open Friday and run through May 11.

    The story spins around Richard Pell and his daughter, and Richard's sister, Augusta Pell, who is missing, and an incompetent detective. A ransom note asks for $5,000. Far from being distraught over the sudden disappearance of the domineering Miss Pell, the family members urge the detective to take his time find her.

    Performance times are 8:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $11-$13.

    Near West Theatre The Who's musical "Tommy" will open May 9 and run through May 18.
