Postgame Quick Hits - Bulls 86, Cavs 85
By Michael Curry
November 06, 2009, 12:11AM
Not a whole lot to talk about tonight, at least not much to talk about positively. But there are a few thoughts. - While I believe that a foul call would not have been out of the question on that last play, I'm okay with an NBA where that foul isn't called. The defense was solid, and the contact... Full story »

CavsHQ Postgame Quick Hits for the Cavs victory over the Wizards Tuesday night at the Q: - Yes, everyone in the Q was worried when the Cavs started slow and the Wizards jumped ahead by as many as 18 points in the second quarter. The Cavalier offense during that stretch was nothing short of abysmal, with little ball movement... Full story »

The Cavs look to go over .500 for the first time this season when the Washington Wizards come to the Q on Tuesday night. Some things to keep an eye on. - After spending most of the last two seasons on the bench with various injuries, Gilbert Arenas has started the new season strong, averaging 28.0 points and 6.7 assists... By Michael Curry
November 01, 2009, 8:49PM
- Your Cleveland Cavaliers are 2-2, losing the first two games of the season to the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors, then regrouping to win games against the Minnesota Timberwolves and Charlotte Bobcats over the weekend. - While 2-2 is somewhat short of impressive, it is still good enough to have the Cavaliers tied for the best record in... Costumed Cavs
By Carolyn I Hastings
November 01, 2009, 4:40PM
Halloween in Shaker began with a father/son Freddie Krueger duo out for Nestles bars and ended hours later with the Cavs treating the Bobs to an offensive onslaught. Delonte West, recently absent from the team but always in our hearts, stepped into his Cavs costume and, in keeping with the spooky theme, #13 scored 13. Full story »

A Thought on Delonte West
By Michael Curry
October 30, 2009, 7:12AM
I was having dinner with my dad last night, and he asked me "What's the deal with Delonte West?" I told him that, as far as anyone outside the organization knows, there is no immediate plan on what to do with West. He seems to be practicing with the team. I was under the impression that he made the... Full story »
Deja Q

20,562 dwindled quickly. Long before the final buzzer ended the excruciating fourth quarter, fans were shaking their heads and heading to the exits. Bench points were minimal, Shaq caught the ball just outside of the optimal under-the-basket-and-plunk-it-in position, Anthony Parker showed promise and newness at the same time as an on-the-money pass from LB bounced off his head and into the stands. OK, maybe it didn't bounce off his head but you get the point. Joe Tait declared Anthony Parker the recipient of a critical lesson - when LeBron is on the floor, the ball may arrive with little notice and great force. Full story »
Running Thoughts: Cavs v. Raptors
By Michael Curry
October 28, 2009, 7:00PM
CavsHQ Running Thoughts (and Postgame Quick Hits) for tonight's game in Toronto against the Raptors: First Quarter: - Shaq is way too big and strong for the Raptors to handle him down low. He's also way too slow to defend Andre Bargnani on the perimeter. A slower pace benefits the Cavaliers in that matchup, a faster pace benefits Toronto.... Full story »

We're all still a little frustrated by last night's performance, but at least tonight brings another opportunity for the Cavs to impress. Or a chance to really start depressing Cleveland fans. - I know that Mike Brown really wanted to win the game last night, but he may have set his team up for a rough start. The Cavs... Full story »
