Local heroes rescue couple from Berea house fire
Some say that heroes are made, not born. Those who have performed heroic deeds usually do not consider themselves heroes, just ordinary people who were at the right place at the right time. Most are aware of the everyday heroes among us, those who protect us, heal us when we are sick, care for us when we are weak, teach our children, or minister to our battered spirits.

Group worked off the turkey and shared with others, too
Thanks to Berea's long-time Jazzerciser, Brenda Eilbeck, the group's annual "Turkey Burn-Off" was saved! She contacted several key Bereans requesting that they be allowed to exercise at the Rec Center on Thanksgiving morning.
