Bees drop tennis match
Medina had a tough time against Strongsville as the Battling Bees fell, 5-0, in tennis action.
Strongsville's Mike DePauw defeated Lucas Walters, 6-4, 6-1, in first singles; Sid Narayan beat Medina's Andrew Baker, 3-6, 7-6, 6-3, in second singles; and the Mustangs' Evan Boso edged Alex Haley, 5-7, 6-4, 6-3, in third singles.
In doubles action, Strongsville's Brian Bode and Zak Bittinger cruised past Jordan Helderman and Daran Pazgan-Lorenzo, 6-1, 6-0, in first doubles and the duo of David Okada and Jake Nemeth defeated Medina's Zach Peters and Liam McLaughlin, 7-6, 6-7, 6-4, in second doubles.
