cocktail, and Kirtland's football team swallowed hard
following an 18-17 loss to Youngstown Ursuline in a heart-
pounding Division V regional final Saturday night.

Magnificat takes second in Nike event
The Magnificat cross-country team finished second at the
Midwest regional meet of the Nike National Cross Country
Championships on Saturday. Leading the way for Magnificat was
Madeline Chambers, who finished eighth in 18:45 in Terre Haute,
Ind. The second-place finish puts the Blue Streaks into the
national finals, to be held Dec. 6 in Portland, Ore.
