The worst day of Lillie Matelski's life fell on her birthday. A fire destroyed the upper half of her Clark Avenue home Wednesday and killed her twin, 3-year-old grandchildren, Jesse and Jordan Robinson. Tree company owner found dead in Vermilion home

VERMILION, Ohio -- The 36-year-old owner of a popular tree service was found dead in his home this morning in what police and the Lorain County coroner call "suspicious circumstances." Dr. Paul Matus, Lorain County coroner, said Jeremy Simko, owner of Simko Tree Service, was killed by one or more gunshots. "We're being very careful in this investigation," he said.... Full story »
