Area athletes receive honors for fall season

Several local athletes earned conference honors as well as various other distinctions for their performance during the 2009 fall season. For the Brunswick volleyball team, three individuals were especially singled out for their contributions. Local soccer athletes named All-OAC

Five members of the Baldwin-Wallace College men’s soccer team were named to the 2009 All-Ohio Athletic Conference men’s soccer team. Senior goalkeeper Russ Mika (Medina) also was tabbed as the OAC’s Goalkeeper of the Year. Four Yellow Jackets earned first-team accolades and one earned second-team honors. Medina youth gymnasts compete in season premier

Members of the Medina Gymnastics Academy Level 3-6 turned in a number of solid performances in their their season premier Oct. 25 on their home floor.
