RUBBISH COLLECTION & RECYCLING:
Rubbish collection every curbside Tuesday by Waste Management
Waste oil or any liquids, branches, brush or carpet must be cut and bundled not to exceed 2 ft in diameter and must be less than 35 lbs, must solidify paint w/oil dry or kitty litter , no batteries, limit 2 tires per household per week, no commercial waste, hazardous wastes.
Appliances can be put out with trash
Recycling is every Thursday, excluding holidays. Please have your items at the curb by 8:30 am. Please separate your aluminum, newspapers, and cardboard. Steel cans, glass bottles, and plastics can be placed in the same bag. Brooklyn Heights has become proactive in regards to recycling: we will also pick up your discarded washers, dryers, refrigerators, and other household goods.
