RUBBISH COLLECTION & RECYCLING:

Rubbish collection on major holidays varies.
Refuse may be put out no sooner than 1/2 hour before sunset the evening before collection, but no later than 7 a.m. collection day.
Do not use 55-gal. drums or reusable containers without handles.
Containers should be bushel size. All rubbish should be put into bags. Rubbish shall NOT be placed in blue bags.
The following materials will not be collected as part of regular rubbish: commercial rubbish, contractor’s debris, earth, rocks, tree stumps, broken concrete, explosives, poison.

Appliances, etc. Appliances containing Freon (refrigerators, freezers, etc.) will be picked up on WEDNESDAYS. Other large metal items (washers, dryers, lawn mowers, hot water tanks, etc.) will be picked up on THURSDAYS. Please call City Hall early in the week to make arrangements.

Furniture/Carpeting Place with regular trash. Carpeting and padding should be cut up and rolled into no more than 4’ lengths and bundled (not to exceed 2’ in diameter, or 50 lbs.).

MANDATORY RECYCLING (Curbside pick-up on regular trash day.)
